When you think of coasters you probably think about something to put your drink on to protect your coffee table or another piece of furniture.  Why not take it a step further and also have something you can use to cut on.  So if you are having your favorite beer (Cerveza) and you need to slice a lime, no need to get out a cutting board just use your coaster you are already using to put your mug on.  For those of you who don’t drink beer but want to slice a lemon in your water, same thing goes, use the coaster as your cutting board.  For us guys who like a beer on a nice hot day or warm day or cool day or even a cold day these coasters are perfect.
As you can see these coasters are made with different types of hardwood.  The ones in the pictures are made of Oak, hickory, Mahogany and pine.  They are a little under 4” x 4”  and approx 3/8” thick but as you can see are large enough for a glass mug to sit on.  The holder for the coasters is made of the same materials.
Just like my end grain cutting boards the natural colors of the end grain of these coasters really pop when I put the mineral oil on and are just beautiful.  Everything is natural, no stains or varnishes just the natural beauty of the wood with the protectant of the mineral oil.
 I can also wood burn your name or Company name on them if you would like.  It will be done by hand, which to me makes them more authentic and because I don't have a laser engraver yet.
